AUSAULT LINE ALICE SYSTEM (ALAS) was designed for all environments, whether hot, temperate, cold-wet or even cold-dry arctic conditions. ALICE (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) system is made of water-repellent Cordura nylon. The packs capacity is 60L and will carry enough clothing and gear for a 4/5 days campaign. It has a Aluminum Alloy frame which is light weight and strong. The load bearing padded shoulder straps and kidney pad ideally distribute much of the carried load for greater comfort.
